So my college was having a FPS Turny tonight and of course I was giving the job of managing the servers.

I was controlling 2 games at once and trouble shooting all the odd issues that randomly happened. So I spent several hours before hand learning the ins and outs of running a UT2004 dedicated server. While I got it down for the most past, I still had a bunch of random problems with setting some settings and having to re-start in order to fix it. And then 10 min before the even starts I was asked: "Hey Mooga, any way you can set up another 8 player server and set the computer?" (Yes, they really call me Mooga). So I threw together a HL2DM server and had a handful of server.cfg issues. The main one being that I had time limit set twice by accident. The other problem being that there was no ChatTime set when the round ended.
The last server I set up for one round was a Ricochet. This was funny as all hell because you had 16 people who have never touched the game before trying to figure it out. It was also funny because we single-handedly quadrupled the number of people playing Ricochet
EDIT: Also, Golden Eye on a HUGE plasma TV is totally kick-ass
