Hi guys,

with all these new stuffs Valve gave us with the new update, I thought let's try and see if it works.

So hereby:
Groupname: Source Dedicated Server
Abbrev: SRCDS

(since I don't have access to srcds.com I made the subdomain with my own.)

Free to join for everyone!

I am currently looking for moderators/administrators to help me in my task. I will message the ones that I'd like to have if they joined the group. If you think you should be a moderator/admin please leave a message.
Note: I will personally select the ones to be mods/admin, I want a dedicated set of staff on this with enough knowledge to provide support, so before you all send in your applications please take a look at yourself and think about if you are up to the task.

All this has a few nice features, mainly the chatroom which comes in handy for helping people, also announcements can be dropped when there are updates or other important stuff going on.
Next to that, you can see where other people from the group are playing and check out their freshly setup servers all over the world!

Let's make this thing a success, for the first time we can provide LIVE support!
I hope this is going to be great, I see a lot of opportunities here!

Because I can't , I'm only the Dutch forum mod, all admins disappeared and no-one can make me admin.

afaik moderators can do sticky posts .. dunno in this version of the forum .. never used mybb

yea, i went there, did a couple things and it came up with some error. then i got a call at work, so i actually had to do something.

*edit- I would join chat as well, but I don't have steam at work. and I really don't think they would let me install it, lol.

Hehe, no problem, as this is only the starting phase, we can't just help 24 hours a day and I hope the people do understand this.

It is a very good idea, especially when we need to have like a conversation with someone to try and sort out problems, as long as the solution gets posted back in here for anyone else that may have the problem.

Admins now are:
Drocona, Manofphat, Skeletor

We had some people join the chat already and and successfully helped them with what they had problems with.

If possible I'd like to see fqdn and Muppet around (don't know if they have a steam account?) if they are willing to of course, you are on my list for admin too since you both know enough in my opinion.
