I use ClientExec but beware the initial set up is a B.I.T.C.H.

I agree. WHMCS covers billing and support rather nicely!

I prefer ClientExec. It is a little pain in the ass to setup at first, but once its setup, its smooth sailing.

Setting up products is like pulling teeth.
I strongly recommend WHMCS (http://www.whmcs.com). It is light weight, easy to modify to fit your site and doesn't require a lot of knowledge to get started.
P.S. WHMCS Doesn't require half of what ClientExec requires to run.
I agree highly! Plus, TCadmin and WHMCS go hand and hand and are more supported than ever. CE is almost getting depreciated along with Plesk Billing. WHMCS works with TCadmin and with Luis creating the new module, it's god-like.

Works, yes; backed by TCadmin and TCadmin community, eh, not so much.

I hate cleintexec's guts only because you have to enter the different prices for each one, wish it would just calculate it

Yeah,
ClientExec doesn't have a very good module base. The community is not very active. Same with ModernBill (Plesk). The modules for both of these are falling off everyday and support just sucks from Plesk.
WHMCS also supports more payment gateways and merchant accounts.
