Server Population?

Kind of curious how everyone gets there servers so populated all the time?

just play in it, get your clan to play in there, invite friends. People will join when there is people in there then people come back and you get regulars. It goes something like that

Get a website. Administrate properly. Keep 24/7 in the beginning of your name like you have now. Play regularly with friends on it.

Eh, I have no idea how to get people in. ComputerHelper care to explain how you got yours populated?

Well, I had a server once. I made it populate by making as much cleint freindly stuff as possible.

And I also found out that if I added [DK] infront of it, it became populated very quickly.
DK = Denmark = I'm from there. It attracts alot of noobs/players Anyway, they are good to have .

And I never use the admin speak and I don't make adverts like "Admins is: blablablabla, etc., etc."
And when I ban them, I make sure that it is a good reason, not just because I don't like them personally or such stuff.

Other words, be as much mature as possible!

maps also affect the server, apparently cs_office is very popular but in the end it all comes to perfrence, and also like on the veloci cs_office server the tickrate and fps is in the tittle i feel that that might also help. an other thing that migth help... trying to set up a hacker free enviorment which is really hard to do.

All I do is provide a large laggless server with a map every one likes, I also play on it all the time, having a friendly gaming environent helps a lot too.

btw the only server I play on now is my own, not only do I make some sales from it but people like to see the main admin on alot

Setup fake servers like 28-33 that they run all the time.

The company hosting those servers are retards... I mean hello! 876 SLOTS on one server? Hell no.

Thats just a guy running fake servers on his home computer. ^^ When you join any of those servers you get redirected to their clan servers...
