no registry changes but umm what i do. idk if it contributes but int he server affinity. like i set 2 cores to the srcds. and other programs like explorer. (not iexplorer) i take them off the cores that the srcds is using. but ive heard that srcds doesnt use affinity or seomthin

so im not sure if that helps

basically i go throu the taks manager and just remove anything from the 2 cores that i dedicated to srcds

start /affinity # /wait /realtime
Put a number in the # space, your going to have to mess around with it to find out which cores they use
