By the way, what's with all this discussion regarding Ohio servers? Is this just a cheaper location to colo for GSP's? As for location and backbone, I don't see why someone would pick Ohio over Chicago or New York.

I like it how Computer Helper hasn't replied.

For a real US server host look at Xtreme Game Servers, Xfactor Servers and Raided Servers - all SRCDS users.

Hope you get some money back.

If I ever started a game server business, I would offer a 3-day money back guarantee, and I wouldn't change my prices for current customers.

Update: I have received another reminder to pay my invoice via paypal this morning. I guess that is his reply.
#21
Why don't you use PayPal to request a refund? I am not quite sure how to do it, but I know it is possible.

Chicago server are generally more expensive. I'm guessing it's because there are less data centers open for colo in Chicago. Being from Chicago it sucks because I get pings to Chicago servers as low as 5 (and I'm not even near the city).

Ohio is a more central location. This appeals to people who are in the Midwest or running a server for people all over the US. There is less lag from both costs.

Please do not PM me for server related help

Yeah, request a refund, and simply do not pay the invoice.

How is Ohio a more central location? Ohio is EAST of Chicago, so I don't see how it would appeal to those in the Midwest. Chicago has a better backbone, ESPECIALLY if you're located in the midwest area.

we offer 7day money back guarantee, and let me talk about our prices, they were too low for what they came with and to keep us running. 66tick came $1.00 a slot public. it included 512fps standard free ftp and mani and detox installed unless told not too. we also installed every thing for you... also whats worng with raided severs? there quality is great.

I am interested in becoming a Game Server Provider, and I feel I have the knowledge from using TCAdmin to manage my clan servers. It would be nice to make some money on the side Smile

That's the hard part. Making money.
Many GSP's make little profit for the time they put in, and some make no profit as all income is diverted to monthly costs and upgrades.

As far as my reply to the price increase.

I agree it is not fair to do it to an existing customer, BUT not paying your bill can result in collections. Even if you pay via paypal, paypal offers collection services.

So I recommend paying your bill, this last time, or work out a deal to pay half or something, use the server for the remainder and leave.

Money will not be refunded as of out 7 Day Money Back Guarantee

We are sorry that you feel dissatisfied about our raising in prices, but you were notified of the price changes (Outlook confirms this).

I do regret you way of action, if I was consulted about this prior to my return to the land of the internet (via email, yes I get them pushed to my phone).

And most of you ligations are false, the post you have a picture of has nothing to do with you being we run Quad Cores on all systems.
