HLTV Overlay?

Hi.
I'm trying to figure out a way of having a overlay in HLTV client.

Me and my friends are organizing a little Counterstrike 1.6 tournament.
Our idea is to have 2 teams playing on one room and the other teams waiting on other room. While those are waiting we wanted to have HLTV so that they can watch the game.

But at the same time, we wanted to have a marquee on the bottom, with a custom rolling text, which is controlled in the gamimg room, so that we could announce which teams are going to play next.

Or just a marquee over counter strike.

We know we can do the marquee communications with Adobe Flash using a simple messaging system.
Now we are trying to find a way to integrate Flash with Counter Strike.

1. Making a Flash overlay over CS
2. Having CS running in a window over Flash

Any ideas we can do this?

It is a solution, but how would we get rid of the blue Windows and Window Titles?

is running on linux with wine an option for you? there you could try running it in windowed mode without a window manager (then you don't have window decorations) and placing it to the correct coordinates using die -geometry command line option... then do the same with some other program that gives you the marquee.

I'm not sure, but I'd say you can get rid of window decorations with Window Blinds.

Overall Mooga's idea of running the TV in windowed mode is ingenious in all its simplicity. Nice thinking, Moog.

another idea pops just into my mind: you can move the window so you don't see the titlebar (klick on the icon in the title bar and select move, then use the cursor-keys to move the window)... but you will still see the lower border of the window...

You can move other "marquee" windows (maybe firefox with java-script scroller?) over the titlebar. These are the cheap and easy solutions. If you want advanced look, you need to go through some trouble (and maybe buy window blinds or other desktop skinning program).

Thanks to all of you who helped me.

I think I will just change the Theme to classic and make them all black. Then with a dark background, It would be fine.
I like the javascript idea. I'm prety familiar with PHP and it would be easy to make a simple server and connecting to it with a browser. Or I could simply make a VB.Net application with no window decorations and with a simple browser in it.
