Has there ever been a SRCDS Community Server?

Yes there has been a community server a while back, it went offline because people weren't using it.
Also people are form all over the place which kinda puts us in a position where not everybody can play on it Smile

Once I build my new computer I will consider to put up a small server on one of my server boxes in Chicago. As long as I can put my school's name in the MOTD I can justify getting paid to manage it Wink

Awesome!

I would set one up in the UK, however our dedi is kinda full at the moment for clan stuff.

However, I might be able to make on of the clan servers like half and half, we'll see.

How many slots will you like and what mods, maps and plugins?..

Erm....I suggest around 18 - 30 slots depending on the tickrate...

Standard gameplay? With little mods, just admin, maybe zblock and steambans.

Hmm 100tick, 24 slots (28 totaly, 4 reseved to srcds admins)

Maps only?(dd2, cbble, nuke and inferno)

Yes, standard Gameplay sounds good.

Plugins:

Mani, zblock(Then the quake sounds wont work), steambans, metamod, how about Detox?

Dunno with zblock Smile I love quake sounds Big Grin


Hopefully, they wan to host it!..

But i need to ask. I will write a request for it, later.
We're going to the beach Big Grin (I'm not, hopefully).
