Help Getting Server To show up online

I am attempting to set up a server for counter-strike source. I have looked at other topics and not been able to find a working solution for my problem. My server shows up only in the LAN tab and not in internet. How can i solve this problem?

For you as you are on the same network, the server will ALWAYS show up as LAN.
You can sometimes see your server by adding the external IP to your favorites
Join the Source Dedicated Server Support Group on Steam Community!
Source Dedicated Server (SRCDS)
Free to join, Live support! (When available)

So giving my friend my external ip and the right port would allow him to connect to the server?

If you have port forwarding set, yes.

I forwarded all my port i have a linksys router but it sill doent work.
I see it on LAN and i can play in it but my friends cant. I am Runing on VISTA

I got it fixed.
27015 was forwarded to 3 local IPs, LOL!
