Unban in TF2

I was banned through rcon from my own server by a clan member. He thought I was some guy who was on earlier that was pretending to be one of us. I need to know how I can un ban myself, or have someone else do it.

removeid <p>      Remove ban for <p> by SteamID.
removeip <q>     Remove ban for <q> by IP-address.

Type that in the server console.

Or go in and remove your id from the list

removeid: couldn't find STEAM_0:1:8132267
removeip: couldn't find 68.117.74.48

This is what I get every time. He even told me to try those like 5 seconds after he realized he banned me. They never worked. Another problem is, I can not for the life of me find the file that has the bans in it... I found like ban_user I believe but there is nothing in there.

So basically I already tried both of those ideas before posting, thanks for the help but I need another solution or the exact location and name of the ban file.

He probably banned you on some plugin with a custom ban file then... I don't know where to look in that case

no, he used rcon cause we didn't have any plugins installed at the time, we just reinstalled the game.

I haven't been running public server lately so I haven't had any bans for over a year... don't know where the ban files are, maybe google a bit? I can't help you much there.

hey i was banned when a jerk tricked me in to typeing !givemeall i was thinking that it was a 200 enginer parts the one for building things so is ther a way that i can go back on to vac-network or what ever it is or get unbanned from it

We have nothing to do with VAC.
Also, that's not how VAC works... look it up.
