Port is already in use. Use another port.

Edit: after looking at the pic it seems I had a slightly different error. Basically looked the same,

so try muppets suggestion first.

Next I would try and find out which program is using that port. If it is absolutely imperative that program be running try muppet's suggestion or figure out a way to use one port by two programs (is possible because people run 2 servers at once). If none of that works then i dunno cause I just started this stuff as well

try 27014.......not sure though. I think on my port forwarding tab it says steam runs on UDP 27000 to 27015. Since you used 015 try lower. Just make sure to forward that port as well in your router settings.

Try removing the -ip command if you use it, else set a different port with -port <number>

Because I am almost positive that the -ip command is your problem.

Hey nubsalad, just use you internal ip. just right click the local area connection and select status - then select support - then you'll see "IP Address" use that not the external. (that is if you connected through a router\modem. =] hope that help. I had the same issue and that fixed it perfectly!!! im stuck on something else now but i got passed that very same problem...=] oh and that is to placed on the target of the srcds shortcut you created (Run SRCDS)...

That error is always with the -ip command. What is your startup line look like?

I guess you are NOT connected directly to the internet (You have a router right Smile)

go to start => run, type "cmd", hit RETURN/ENTER, type "ipconfig" and see what your IP address is
