Dub Wrote:ok so ive heard its possible gettin 1000 fps on windows srcds..of so can someone provide me a guide or a link? anything? ty i told a few people how to do it on here in a thread once, and so did another guy. there is 2 ways, pre install and getting 1000fps after windows is installed. Both are useless. The method works, but cpu will go from say 5% to 99% every 8 seconds. i battled with it for a long time and gave up. Also, if you have a dualcore you can say bye to one of those cores because if you do it by windows you will lose a functional core. unless you do it in the bios. Im actually about to post about this because im having issues with stabalising linux at 1000fps.

I just ordered a new dual processor, dual core server and I was going to shoot for 1000FPS but if you are having trouble running it stable I would much rather just use a default install. I won't have any FPS issues running 2 12-man privates and 2 20-man public servers all at 100 tick right? I'll be running 2x Opteron 275's on Windows.

I found the way to make it stable at 1000FPS on windows 7
All you have to do is to relaod some website and keep it open. Its weird but it works. Check out my tutorial below here's the link http://michalsiek.com/csstutorial.html
