SteamTools must not be ready for CSS either.

Does it work without the plugin, keeping SteamTools in the extensions folder?

yes it works with one or the other but not both. i had the same problem with update.do or whatever it was called on my l4d2 server. its just steamtools.


however did find a bug. today went onto my dedicated server desktop and opened scrds admin and noticed memory was running little high. also noticed message on tf2 server about http schema list or something like that. so i stopped tf2 tried to run update through scrds admin and it came back with error could not delete server.dll. i then just stopped all servers and closed scrds admin down completely. tried manual update using my bat and failed with same error. so opened task manager and saw both my tf2 server and l4d2 server were still running. almost like there were 2 instances for both running once. i closed them down and ran update and started scrds admin back up and started servers the memory was back to normal

Not using steam tools, i found the problem, i change from public ip to private ip and it started working

Well like the chap above said, i cannot get any on my server to run on a public ip, they just keep restarting. however if set to private they work, Also tried using the +IP command in the connect string box and the same happens.

The annoyance is that people cannot view the server through friends etc.. Not good for trying to fill a public server, as alot of people join through there mates.

hello when i start source it crasshes when in public ip like the rest here and when i start local i cant have vac on it and peapol cant join server even me sitting next to server! what is wrong i love this app and its realy nice i can give you remote accses to computer if you want to have a lock att this error its realy strange i think

yes i have all the port forwarded corectly!
when i start it whitout this application so works wery fine whit vac but when i start itt whit this app it wont start vac!!

Yes, Also tried DMZ. with your prog i cannot set public IP only Private, Without you app this seems to work fine. Wired.

We love this Tool but is it possible to make an Webinterface for this tool?
We have on our root server also server for a friend but on l4d2 sometimes the server crashs and does not restart.

so if no one from us is there his server is all the time offline and he can't restart the server

This appears to only work on Windows Server operating systems. When trying to start the server with this program the server crashes and in the log states serverweroptin.exe can't be found, that only appears to be present on Windows Server. The server just crashes when trying to launch with this utility on anything other than Windows Server. There is nothing wrong with the server itself as I can launch and connect to it fine outside of this utility.
