[v2.3.1.0] SRCDS Admin - manage your Source servers (now supports auto-update))
#61
Nice server.

Just keep an eye on it and let me know if it acts up. Meanwhile I'll review the source code to see if there are any flaws that might cause this.

Found another problem for you.

If you have a server listed in the program but not actually online & it has a re-start time set for it the server will come online at the re-start time.

The program should only start servers that are running & not those that are simply "ready".

I have many servers listed that are brought online at particular times or events & then taken down after use till next needed.

Having to edit it them to not re-start when taking them down shouldn't be needed.

Hi, great program to admin my servers! Big Grin

It works pretty fine but sometimes the interface is unresponsive like it just kinda hangs. Then I'll have to wait for a long while before it works again.

Also, how do I run a few servers off the same directory? I've set only the 1st instance to update. The rest just restart but it doesn't seem to work well.

Cheers!

I'll change a few things in the next update and you can let me know if that works.

Could you possibly add compatibility for Alien Swarm?

In all honesty, it would probably work better if you let users completely override fields and enter custom entries, as opposed to limiting to drop-down menues everywhere. This would be easily compatible with HLDS, but because it is not, we have to run ServerChecker as well as this otherwise excellent utility.

So, please allow user overrides of the fields.

Much appreciated.

EDIT:

If it doesn't, maybe you can use the same method as this:

Excuse me if you never did it, but I remember a few pages back that you did this. I'm just here to say that it doesn't work.

I like your idea very much. It needs to be text fields instead of drop down menus. I'll work with that during the next day or two.

I will be releasing a new version very soon. This new version adds a ton of new features everyone will love, including the ability to automatically update your server whenever Steam's content changes. Very cool, eh? Big Grin

I'm waiting on the next update via Steam to test it out. If everything goes okay I'll release it.

I have 2.2.0.0 and when I start it, it still tells me there's a newer version available......I re-download and it continues telling me the same thing.

And one "glitch" I've noticed is that if I stop a server (one of my six), the player counts reset to 0/24 and I have to wait for the program to catch up or be minimized to "refresh" the player count list......nothing major, but just thought i'd share.....

Thanks for all your hard work!

Updated. Everyone who had problems before please download the newer version.

This version supports the ability to automatically update your servers when Steam's content changes.

Alrighty I have a l4d2 server. Downloaded Admin, update plugin, and steamtools. Installed update plugin in sourcemod plugins and steamtools in sourcemod extentions. Btw this is on Windows 2008 server. Ran admin.exe and set it up. Clicked start and it starts to load but then it restarts and restarts and etc. I have noticed that when I start the regular restart.bat I have l4d2 loads twice. So I am lost now.

get this in log serverweroptin.exe does not exist

Sorry for double post

Well I have reinstalled my l4d2 and started adding stuff slowly. Looks like a problem with SRCDSAdmin and steamtools.ext. Apart the server doesnt crash and restart loop but when both are installed they loop.

Solved: Steamtools doesn't work on l4d2 Guess I should have read through all 13 pages.
