I have noticed the link View Today's Posts no longer works. when followed it just shows a white page. This was how I ran around helping people with ease, while not a reason for me to stop, it just means I cant have all the new posts in one place.

It could be from back end work, or just simply a bug, thought I let you know.

just tinkering with things a little, and since i noticed that runs through the search, the search feature also isn't working. so i guess for a little we can't give ppl flak for not using the search, lol.

lol yea yea yea.. although that would make a lot less posts on the forum if ppl actually would search. like all them "why can't ppl connect to my server with the ip 192.168.1.101:27015" questions. I should write some sort of tutorial about port forwarding and the difference between external and lan ips. I will work on that the next few days.

That and server.cfg's and Cant see my server online (sv_lan 1 should be 0) and many others I cant think of!

lol, whats funny about the server.cfg is theres a server.cfg resource thread stickyd.. although i guess that doesn't really say how to make one, just what to put in it.

...do you know of any other online cfg maker for like hl2dm and dods? theres that one for css, and that would be nice to have them posted so people can easialy find places to make a details server.cfg file for all game types.

well i posted a tutorial for the whole router config. i think i covered just about everything. im working on building a simple online server config maker. although i will need some help with the dod:s cvars. so if somone wants to give me there server.cfg file or copy all the cvars to me, just pm it to me.

/edit-actually it would be helpfull to get a sample hl2dm server.cfg as well. i will look around though, i think theres a couple posted here.

I am also going to work on an article regarding using BAT files for backup / recovery and using programs like server checker

I will also soon create an extensive file for sv_Downloadurl as that is becoming popular, that can then be added to the revamped site.

So i am almost done with the css server.cfg maker. it can be found
here = http://cfgmaker.united-losers.com/css/ i still have to make the style sheet and stuff so its still very plain. im gonna make some header graphics and stuff. but im seriously gonna need some help on what cvars to inclue with dod:s and hl2dm, and probly what some of the cvars do on dod:s as well.

also zealot hope you don't mind but i linkd to your downloadurl tutorial on there where you fill in sv_downloadurl, and i will update the link if you make a better one i figured that way if people don't know about it, they can find out!

alright, well i think i finally have the style sheet done for the config maker, and i have more or less done the hl2dm version..

keep in mind i have really never ran a hl2dm server outside of some lan listen servers, so inform me of anything i should change with the cvars! some of them things i have no clue what they are for (i took most them cvars off of server.cfg files on this site)

im still waiting on the dod:s cvars.
