A word of advice.

Don't spin up laptop hard drives without their enclosure... And most definitely don't try to make circles in the platter whiles its spinning...

Sure that it is glas? I remember an old 400mb hd I used similar. Its plates where more like hard metal. At least we could use them as frisbees.....
