I would recommend using e107 for free and easy use.

im my opinion e107 is crap. better use something like joomla, which is a well supported community CMS. with some luck you might find some kind of integration for your forum software for joomla...

I have used SMF with Tiny Portal

[Drocona]

I'm a wordpress guy...

Guess now you still don't know what to use

You could always learn PHP

[BehaartesEtwas]

yeah, learn PHP and write your own one. That's what I did for the FPS meter (and for the future homepage of my clan) ;-)

I just coded my own site in php, pretty easy

Just learn php and make your own cms to fit your needs.

Or you could learn asp.net and use the MVC framework, witch makes it a piece of cake.
Any ways way off topic.

I would suggest looking into
http://umbraco.org/
http://drupal.org/

2 really good systems.

Don't mess ith asp.net. It's stupid. Focus on PHP, it is the way to go.

Wont agree in that. But again, it is a matter of opinion.
