the cpu has nothing to do with the amount of files you are hosting, that would be the disk subsystem. the faster the cpu, the more concurrent connections you can handle -- but even a lowly p3 can handle many, many concurrent connections. more than almost any fastdl server would need, even a heavily loaded one. the limiting factor would be the speed of the disks.

Ok, not to get on anyones bad side, or anything, so what, if your server may be better, or you give more space, who gives a turkey? Besides, honestly, who here needs 50GB of space for compressed maps? Honestly? I understand its free, and such but damn lol. The important thing is, that you guys are doing a good deed here, offering free sv_downloadurl's to people. And me, and many other people appreciate this.

And I say keep it up, it will in a way release server/bandwidth stress from the other free downloadurl providers which is great (less money to pay then eh!). This way we all help each other.
