Interested in starting a GSP
#31
Hello,

Well this is unbelievable. That kind of computers for such a price, as said before, does really makes you a lucky man. It would effectively be a waste just to sell them out and not trying a business out of it, and your backgroud experience seems somehow similar to mine so I don't doubt you'll be able to setup a good GSP as you seem to have the skill, the concepts and the hell of the good computers Smile

Whenever you get some of them running, could I kindly as you to post some performance report on that thread? http://forums.srcds.com/viewtopic/6878

I am starting a series of posts to help professionals who want to start a GSP so help, advices, feelings and information are more than welcome. Thank you in advance.

PS: A short note about ebay, it's true that you can get some very good deals out of there, you just to be very carefully to who you are buying. Many bad sellers or "stinky" businesses but also some very good ones.

Cookies, if you are asking theese questions you probably should stay away from running a GSP for the sake of the customers.

Chances are if you can't offer your own dedicateds, stop asking to be a part of his company if he starts one.

To be honest, the GSP is better than the Web-Hosting side, but like many have stated it requires a lot of time. I just rather run gaming communities off of those servers.

It does indeed require alot of time, but its fun, and is can be well worth it. There are very few actual "good" gsp's.
