And is my upload speed good enough for it?
Your hardware is fine. The problem is your upload speed.

But the crash on the server might be the Zombie mod you're using. You could try to disable it and perform the same test which crashed it.
Well idk if my upload speed is good or not but look at this:
Upload speeds

I have 6400 kbps upload speed and it says you need 1600 kbps to host a 40 player srcds server?
I have 2000kbps and I can even hold 12players running at 66tick. Those information provided there is out of date, invalid and it is theoretically calculated.
2000 * 3 = 6000 so that means i can atleast hold 36 players but possible even more since the extra 400 kbps... Thats my estimate....
Look at my first reply Smile
And that is roughly also what you should expect from your connection. Smile

alright server is up, just tried it with 22 bots with zombie reloaded enabled it crashed...
But then i disabled it and added 35 bots and it works fine! 55 fps most of time and about 50% cpu usage used... So this means it's the zombie reloaded max bot thing or is it that zombie reloaded needs more better specs?

bots are not to be replacing human players
humans uses less resources
bots uses more processing power
you should be fine with extra slots and human i think Smile
it all have to be tested in real life
so go ahead and try invite 40 of ur friends Smile
good luck

You should set sv_maxrate high for the best performance, but it is also going to cause higher load on your already low internet connection.

Not sure. But you could try to set it up and if it lags you can always remove two slots to find a stable maxplayers.

It's not accurate. My 10slot server uses 2000kbps easily.
