hello guys, i couldn't find an appropriate topic with this question,so
i was wondering, how can i boost fps on my css server?
server box specs:
Dual Core AMD Athlon 64 X2 5600+
2GB DDR-2
2x 400GB SATA-2
100 Mbit
Debian 4.0 64-bit

you don't need e boost för linux.. But you must have a good kernel.
use +fps_max 600 in command line at startup.
check also so that they are at 600, if it is in your Server.cfg

its not in the server.cfg overriding anything is it?
you can change it on the fly with 'rcon fps_max'

Try to add it to the Server.cfg too.
fps_max 600
But it should be enough in the startup if you do not have anything in your cfg.

no, i have +fpx_max 600 only in startup script.

tried it, and after rebooting, the server just stalled with black screen (thanks god they give free KVM access).... meh
