Hello!
I'm having a problem starting my server. When i start it, it says "Couldn't allocate dedicated server UDP port". First time this happen my start my start settings was "D:\Srcds\srcds.exe -console -game cstrike +map de_dust2 -maxplayers 16 -autoupdate". When i added "-ip 192.168.0.146" the server started, but i i couldn't join it or any other server.
The server have worked perfectly before.
Help please!

i believe its +ip -port so...
-game cstrike -console +ip XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX -port 27015 +maxplayers 16 +fps_max 300 +map de_dust2 -tickrate 100

Are you hosting and playing on the same computer?
If so, that's the problem. This is a known issue with hosting and playing on the same computer.

The server starts but i can't join any servers :/

First of all, it was never intended to run a server and play on the same computer (That's what the ingame "create a server" button is for), so there are no fixes or anything because it's not supposed to work.
As for the IP thing, you ALWAYS set your INTERNAL IP.
You ALWAYS connect to the INTERNAL IP when on the same network.

The internal ip is the one you get if you write ipconfig, right?

Okey, but i don't really need anyone else to be able to use it actually.
btw, i'm using vista if that helps

If you play and run the server on the same computer! Change then to a different port instead of 27015, the port is used when you play yourself. But just as Dracona says .. play and run the server on the same computer is not the best!
