are you using srcdsfpsboster, if not download it it should help out alot, or you can run wmp which has the same affect but uses more recorces

obviously hes using some kind of booster, as how would his fps be 600-700?

Yup I am using srcdsbooster. When the server is in full swing there is about 30% usage on the whole system including a TF2 server so I don't understand how it could drop so low.
Server 2008 if it helps.

you having the same issue as me. I got 8 servers running on my box with 3.0ghz dual quad xeons and 8gb of ram and one server is having trouble holding fps. I cant figure it out i think windows is just fail =\

exactly it drops to 46 tic.. idk why i have a booster i have fps_max 600 i have 8 cores, 8gigs of ram, server 2k3... i cant figure it out

Are you assigning servers to different CPU cores? (Affinity)
If so let Windows balance them. If not, try setting the servers to use a certain core, making sure they cores are evenly loaded.
You also need to make sure you are running the servers at high priority!

Tried setting them to high, realtime and low to see the difference.. Still get the same thing! I tried setting affinity then letting windows manage the load and still the same result.[/align]
