Run media player in the background, and add +fps_max 600 to your startup line.

- Did you set your FPS_MAX in either the command line or server.cfg?
(Example : -game cstrike -console +ip % -port 27015 +maxplayers % +exec server.cfg +map de_dust2 -tickrate 100 +fps_max 600 )

- What OS are you using? (XP, Server 03/08, Linux)
- Are you running the srcfpsbooster?

No need for WMP, just use it as an alternative solution. Smile

But the fps_max should make it rise, if it doesn't, try Windows Media Player (WMP).

Also, if you have 'fps_max' in your configs, make sure it matches the fps_max 600 otherwise, it wouldn't do a different.

Lol, i'm fine, whats up stronius? And you need to boost the fps one way or another, via wmp or srcdsfpsbooster.

Yes the fps booster is definitely needed. However windows media player uses too much resources Toungue, use srcdsfpsbooster. Just google for it.
