Day of Defeat Source Server Sometimes Works
#1
Yes, this is related to my previous thread.

I had a revalation the other day. I was able to play on my server (on the internet) with friends after DMZing my router. But then after shutting down the server for a little bit and coming back, it was no longer working!

Does anyone have any idea how to get this working? (By the way, I've tried two different routers)

I have a U.S. Robotics 8003 by the way.

Also, when I view the server in DOD:S, it is not in the master list, however it is in the LAN list. When I view the server information the ip is my local ip, so I think that might show that something went wrong.

You will need to portforward your router, click on the link, find guides - then your router - and then Day Of Defeat: Source. Now just follow the guide!

It always shows up as LAN for anyone on your network!

Please make sure your IP did NOT change, because the DMZ might be sending to a wrong IP now.

@realchamp:
I already tried port forwarding, and that didn't work.

@Drocona:
It was working for a while, so I know that's not the problem. Also, I have set up a static internal ip.
