Server tickrate

Hello,

In my command line on my server i us -tickrate 100,
when i am ingame and i use net_graph 3 my in is around 60 and my out is 100, but both need to be 100, what lines do i need to use in my server.cfg?

Also i can not join my external ip, i only see the server at the lan tab, friends can join and ports are forwarded.
And how can i update the server? on my other server i can move barrels and other items by pressing E

well first of all you should change your updaterate to 100 instead of 60.
Are you hosting the server on the same computer your playing on?
about the barrels make sure sv_turbophysics is off

Also, make sure you have this entered in your CLEINT console Smile

The problem is most likely the server FPS, are you running srcdsfpsboost or windows media player in the background? You need either of those to get your FPS higher than 100, which is needed for 100 tickrate.

Default FPS is 64, that would explain you only get around 60 ticks "in" on your net graph.

fps is 512 without booster or media player.

i changed updaterate to 100 now it is in 100 and out 100.

but how can i join my external ip??

Also in mani admin if i enable stats/ranks the server freezes, what am i doing wrong?[/align]

You are not doing anything wrong, the plugin is most likely just broken.

I see you've edited your initial post with the server.cfg, your "bandwidth settings" are incorrect.

// bandwidth rates/settings
sv_minrate 0 <=Change this to something other than 0 and lower than sv_maxrate
sv_maxrate 0 <=Change this to 30000 if you have the bandwidth, do NOT use 0
decalfrequency 10 This is not a bandwidth setting, it's the amount of time a player has to wait before he/she can put the decal on the wall again in seconds
sv_maxupdaterate 60 <=This is limiting the tickrate to 60, it needs to be 100 at least to let the server run at 100 tick
sv_minupdaterate 10 <=This is fine

Ok i will change minrate and macrate, maxupdate is already 100, server runs at 100 tick now.

So i need to delete decalfrequency? i used CS:SOURCE cfgmaker (http://www.cstrike-planet.com/cfgmaker?cfg=srcds)

Rank/stats works now, when i enabled it in game with admin menu the server froze, but after editing the mani_server.cfg it worked fine.
the only problem is when about 6 a 7 people join the server, sometime people get huge latecy about 250 everyone has lag then?

how can i solve this?

Your upload connection doesn't let you host more than 8 players at 33 tickrate.
