Hello !
I have a problem with my server for Counter Strike Source, when SV_LAN turned to "0", I can't join my server : "STEAM validation rejected" and the server says :" SteamStartValidatingUserIDTicket: Returned ESteamError 25"
But when the server isn't online (SV_LAN 1) there is no problem for me.
So I would like to disable Steam verification, is it possible and how can I do it ?
Thanks

Are you using a legal version of the game?

I have a legal version and a illegal, but I have lend my Steam account to a "friend" and he used my account for cheating -_-'
So now I can only play with illegal version, but since I've bought a legal version, I think I'm allowed to have an illegal version, no ?

You may NOT own an illegal version since they are reverse engineered and modified (read cracked/hacked)
We don't support it, and truly, you know how many people say "I lend my account to someone and he used cheats and got me banned"? It's old, it's excuse #1 on the list. Now seriously you've f*cked up, you need a new game there's no justification in using the illegal since with the banned account you can still play on non-vac servers. I'm sorry if you really were screwed over by a friend, it happens, just some other real cheaters waste it for the rest of us.
The illegal versions have less servers anyway and you cant go on VAC secured servers either.
