27020

oddle 27020 sometimes trys booting on 27021? after a reboot of the actually server. i have had to stop 27015 then restart 27020 and now it runs ok!?

That's because the 27015 server is running something on 27020 (probably rcon). I've noticed that recently as well.

ok update, this morning i have 27025 running and thats it. Tried booting 27020 again its booted on 27021. so 27015 can't be effecting it either? Source TV runs on none of the servers? is there any other way of forcing it to do so, or maybe a better firewall that redirects 27021 to 27020?

Something on the 27015 server is using port 27020. I think it's rcon...

27020 - Thats for TV as standard. Tv port = 27020, unless you have tv_port "27016"(Or something else).

I seem to remember having trouble with 27020...now I just use every 10 from 27015.

its only that port as you say, stick it on any other and its fine. I have booted that server first then the others afterwards and it somehow seams fine now. With auto rebooting though i would like to resolve it and can only see a port change at the min which i didn't realy want to do

You can't use 27020 as a server game port, the sourceTV port always needs to be free for some unexplainable reason.

Like windle said, the only remedy to running on port 27020 is to start the server usng 27020 as gameport first, before all others.

I suggest tho using jumps of 10 ports (27015, 27025, 27035 etc..)
