Like Derek said best would be 2 cpu's you could get by with one xeon x5460 I'm sure it could do the trick, I have two x5440's in two of my servers I can tell you it sure does the trick, cost is a little high though. Sad All depends on how high you want cpu usage.

If you want all 100 slots in 1 server I can tell you that you won't even be getting 33 tick on it Smile

If you have multiple servers totaling 100 slots, Mr. Denholm and ClanWoof are correct.

about how much bandwidth would I probably need to host that?

Bandwidth is a tricky thing, if all 100 slots are going to be full 24.7 you would need alot.
A scrim server with 10 players uses around 1.2mpbs, if you do a search on here you should find how much bandwidth 100 slots would use. I forget off hand

for 100 tick, use something like 20 KB/s per slot, that's 160kbps
100x 160 = 16000 kbit/s = 16mbit/s upload.

I calculated sometime you can fit about 6xx (don't remind exact number) in a 100mbit pipe Smile
