Erm, if you can disconnect the fan controller then yes, you probably don't need to use it.

i'm a fan of the Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro heat sink, its basic and doesn't look to fancy but dose a dam good job.

How come you went for the 9800GTX? I've seen the 260 GTX for around £180 here in the UK...

To tell you the truth, I've never heard of the GTX 260.
However it is a bit more expensive and I already passed my budget by about 300 bucks ><.
The GTX 260 also can't SLI, but I can't SLI anyways because it doesn't support dual screens Sad
