Bzip2

Im new whit bzip2
1 . where can i download so i can do my files to bzip 2
2 . how i do
3 . most i bzip all map file .. only the map file or the other
.. like this : i have zm_cbble_b3 and zm_cbble_b3.bsp.ztmp ..? do i need to bzip2 this 2 or only 1 ? of this ?

1. http://gnuwin32.sourceforge.net/downlinks/bzip2-bin-zip.php
2. Read instructions (usually just "bzip2.exe de_dust2.bsp")
3. Use bzip2 to compress *.bsp and *.nav.

Files with .ztmp suffix are the servers's automatically gzipped versions of the map. You can delete those files, or just ignore them. You can also use bzip2 to all custom sound files etc.

PS. On Linux you already have bzip2.

In linux, read the man page... In windows just drag the file you want to compress onto the bzip2 compression exe...

and where can i see so im sure that the file have been bzip2ed

EDIT :
when i have bzip2 the file the map have be a folder and the name of that folder is ZM_RunForYourLife.bsp.bz2 and in the folder is the map .. name : ZM_RunForYourLife.bsp shall i upload the folder or the map ?

It's not a folder mate, it's bzipped, just like zip, rar ace etc. You upload that file.

Upload the .bz2 zipped file to your webhost. (It's in a "folder" DONT extract it!)

Example: http//www.example.com/cstrike/
(And then under the folder maps)

And the the normal .bsp file on your server(Just as normal)

Then it should work
