You won't Smile

As far as I know people ran 2000FPS Linux builds but the servers running on it are instable and never hold anywhere near 2000FPS at all. 1000FPS has been made quite possible these days with the new CPU's, 2000 is still way out of our league and completely unnecessary like 1000FPS anyway Smile

No. HPET is not supported by the kernel in 2003. Only in 2008 and Vista which use the newer kernel.

Also you need a fast PC with a fast bus speed, otherwise even with HPET you'll still only pull 500 fps. How fast? Faster the better. 3.0 GHz and 1600 fsb is a good place to start.

So 1000fps is not enabled at all for 2003, because a few companys told me they run 1000fps servers on 2003.. Guess maybe some companys like to lie Sad
