I'm looking at getting a virtual server at Godaddy because I want the flexiblty a Remote Desktop gives me, but I'm unsure whether their virtual servers can give me 24 man & 100 tick.

Any thoughts?

Virtual servers are unable to run dedicated gameservers.
You need a dedicated server for that.

There are thousands of companies all over the world, I have no idea how i would suggest one to you, even if I knew where you came from.
Do some research, find a nice host and check for reviews to make sure it's not a bad choice.

yea, depends where you are from. xlhost.com is a good/cheap dedicated server host, the only downside is that their only location is in ohio.

Team Fortress 2 only goes up to 66 TICK. We offer high quality tf2 servers at http://www.XFactorServers.com . Also I would never rent a server from GoDaddy if its for a gameserver. They use cheap bandwidth and not premuim bandwidth.
