hello, whats so different about the dods beta? and does it aquire more resources, like bandwidth, and cpu? Also, what would my command line look like?

for installing with hldsupdatetool the game switch: -game dodsbeta
for running with srcds: -game dodsbeta
Game is quite different, runs on orangebox engine, has achievements, domination/nemesis, adjusted the COF - you really need to play it, and read the Valve changelogs.

100% yes. It uses the orangebox engine.

I wouldn't say double, exactly. In terms of RAM usage, it uses a LOT more bandwidth, and the memory leak evident in TF2 is in dodsbeta, so expect 500MB+ ram usage on a busy server over a long period without restarting.
CPU wise, it uses a bit more, maybe 10-20% or so.

How often do you restart your servers to get rid of the memory leak? Once a day good enough?

Our dedi's have 4GB RAM - so we can wait a while. On average we restart every 5 days or so, by which time rotation server is using 1.2GB+

hello, i have my dodsbeta server running, and when me and my friends play on it for about 5 mins, and it crashes the server. i reinstalled, and changed configs, and it still crashes. any help?

In recent times, I've had little issues running a DODsbeta server.
