Well i was wondering which one that was best:


Windows XP Home Edition
Windows Vista Home Edition
Windows Vista Premium
Windows Vista Basic(It might called something else, i donnu. I only remember that of the name Toungue)
Windows Server 2003
Windows Server 2008

(And yes, i know Microsoft dont update XP, when it comes to aug. Thats what my freinds told me)

they actually extended xp support until something like 2012

i would either run xp or linux, but thats just me.

Well i cant use linux. I dont know how to setup. But i'm trying!.. Just wanna know which one of them you can run a 1000fps server with?

I had access to a server 2008 box through a client of mine, I must say it worked very nice!

Go for 2008 edition. I know a person and a couple of people who can hit 1000 FPS on 2008 with HPET running.

yup.. we have a couple machines running 2008, and they do handle 1000fps servers quite nicely. Its the only reason we use 2008 though.
