Hate to revive an old topic, but is this project dead? or just a bit inactive? I'm really interested in getting something like this.

Well after reading all of your post. I just want to say you that you should go through it. And the project idea which you have mentioned its really very interesting. I like the over all your project theme.

It looks promising.
I've made a quick-and-dirty web-based Mani-admin configuration tool, perhaps i should rewrite it and join these tools.
Steam username for communication: root_admin (but i'm just a regular user)

Hey guys!

I'm reviving the projet Wink.

Haven't changed anything since the screens you can see on the first page, but I'd like to share the source code and maybe work with a few people to improve it.

What d'ya think?

I've been sending MP's to people who were interested in the past. It should be promising ^^.

Cheers.

I'm interested in this too. I stared working on something like this how ever then more specialized to a single source mod.
However when/if this is released I will most certainly use it. looks awesome.

btw I have php/html+ css knowledge I'm however not sure if I have the time.

Hey guys!

Sorry for not answering earlier, my job makes me quite busy actually.

Is everyone aware that one needs HLStatsX to make the project fully works?

I wasn't able to query the log to get the chat for example.

I could, eh, I wouldn't know how to proceed, but I could make a ZIP of the source code, explain how to make it work on a server and let you guys test it.

Maybe this week or any other week with you guys to test it?

Yes, please do. I'd love to try it out. this would be a good fix for the lack of RCON capable applications for unix based OS's as well as mobile devices.

Actually, I have no more server on which to test the program. If someone could actually help me with that, providing me a Source Dedicated server (for test purposes), that would actually be great!

With HLStatsX as well. I'm updating the core of the program so that it's compatible with the latest version of PHP.

Which version of HLStatsX are you running guys?

I might be able to arrange something. Don't pin me on this however.
HLStatsX? isn't that the paid stats program. Can't this be run on the CE edition?
Anyway look forward to seeing the code.

querying the game log from a php script is easy. just open an UPD socket ("socket_create(AF_INET, SOCK_DGRAM, SOL_UDP)"), listen with it on some port and let the server send its log there. of course that would require some backend to run permanently... I could help with some short code if you need help there...

Why so hard? If querying is the problem talking to the guys of @ sourcebans.net might help. I have used there library ( private projects only, with credits) a couple a times. It's very easy to use.

that is a fact for all scenarios. if you use information provided by hlstatsx or hlx:ce, you use that backend. it cannot work without a backend, there needs something running all the time if you want to catch the log. unless you want to open the log files from disk.
