Need help with server.cfg and console commands
#1
I'm going to be running a CS:S LAN tournament.

I need to know a few things:
1) From the console, how do I restart the map without disconnecting the clients, and preferably leaving the teams intact?

2) What ports are available to run the LAN server on and have them displayed in the LAN servers browser so that I can run multiple servers on 1 machine?

3) Can I run the ports consecutively (ie 27015, 27016, 27017, etc...) or do I need to leave open ports between servers?

4) Can I prevent the server from connecting to the master servers?

5) My config file is as follows (I used the cfgmaker from http://www.cstrike-planet.com/cfgmaker?cfg=srcds ):
Quote:// server name
hostname "Tourney Server 1"

// rcon passsword
rcon_password "password"

// Server password
sv_password "server1"

// server cvars

mp_footsteps 1
mp_autoteambalance 0
mp_autokick 0

// round specific cvars

mp_startmoney 800
mp_c4timer 35
mp_fraglimit 0
mp_maxrounds 7
mp_winlimit 0

mp_spawnprotectiontime 5

// bandwidth rates/settings
sv_minrate 0

// server logging

TKers still get "kicked by console"... I don't want them penalized at all.

Yes, you can use ports 27015 and above for different servers.

That should be the job of 'sv_lan 1' which you have configured in your server.cfg.
May the Source be with you...

1. mp_restartgame <# of seconds til restart>

so for LO3,
1. mp_restartgame
2. then up arrow and enter
3. repeat step 2 one time
