Can't get on server
#1
I was wondering if anyone could help me out here. I can go into my server through the LAN tab but it isn't in the servers list so I am the only one who can join it. Any advice?

There are a ton of posts regarding this. Look around the forums.

In any regard, open your router ports to get the server outbound.

If you are running the server on the same machine, look at this link,

If the server is on your LAN, it wont show up on a the internet tab for you. Ask one of your friends to connect. If they can connect via your external IP, you're good to go Smile

My server is on my LAN and it does show up in my internet servers. I think it depends on your router. I had a different router when I first started to set up my server and nothing would work. I upgraded to a better router and all is well. *shrug

Mine has never shown up in the internet tab (for me), only LAN. All works fine though, outsiders can see and join it.
