Also, why does it matter what the server runs at if its rendered on the users computer?

My server shows 64fps but I get 100-200 fps from my computer across the internet (server is at a secure location and my computer is at my house). Does it really make a difference?

Also, my ping is at 80-120 for my server but I am on a 3mbps Verizon line. Anything I am doing wrong or is it just Verizon? (Gameplay is still fast, no lags but I just see other servers at 40-60 ping) [My server: Xeon Quad core, 2GB, RAID 0, etc...]

The server FPS is something totally different than the client FPS. Server FPS is generated by the CPU thus the need for the servers specs. Client FPS is generated by the GPU.

You can get 512 FPS by simply opening windows media player or run srcdsfpsboost.exe and setting fps_max 600 or higher. Things like flash player have this timer built in just like windows media player, thus allowing it to be boosted.
