Multiple servers on one machine help please !
#1
Howdy guys'n girls.
I have tried to start 2 dedicated servers on my win2003 machine for 2 days now, no luck :/
The server is @ DMZ so no worries about port forwardings. (The #1 server works fine without the dmz though )

I try to start the server #2 with the following command line parameters:
D:\srcds2\srcds.exe -console -autoupdate -game cstrike +ip 192.168.1.110:27016 -tickrate 66 +maxplayers 24 +map de_office2008 +exec server.cfg

NO LUCK :/ it always stucks on:

****** Finished executing mani_server.cfg ******
Network: IP 192.168.1.110, mode MP, dedicated Yes, ports 27016 SV / 27006 CL

The first server starts fine with command line parameters :

D:\srcds\srcds.exe -console -autoupdate -game cstrike +ip 192.168.1.110:27015 -tickrate 66 +maxplayers 20 +map de_dust +exec server.cfg

I just cant figure out whatte hell im doing wrong here, if theres somebody out there with brains turned "on" please please, help meh !
just to make you shure, Im trying to run these on one machine with 1 IP address.
Server is behind NAT, as you can offcourse tell from the ip address....
But as i said, its on DMZ for now.

Try taking out the IP command on the second server.

Try another port...suggest: -port 27025
Is in a LAN? -ip <WAN ip>

Tried that, no help, still stucks on the same place mentioned above....
I did put the hldsupdatetool @ work to get me a fresh server copy.
Was just wondering that if it has something to do with this that i copied the #2 server from the original, and just changed its name and start parameters...
Well we see soon if this does help or not.

I don't think it's a ip problem or whatever. Since it hangs, do you have any plug-ins installed?
If so try to disable them and see if it starts up, if you haven't got plug-ins try to update with -verify_all.

If there are ip/port problems it always throws an error, if it simply hangs it's something with the server.

Really? When I put my wrong IP address for my server in the start up parameters, it hangs Toungue. But then again, its different for everyone.
