I run a css zombie mod server it runs good but after a while everyones ping goes sky high to about 800 ping also when you try to reload your gun it gets stuck some times here is my server.cfg i need to know which settings are wrong and which settings i should add or what ever

Also here is my Target


srcds.exe" -console -game cstrike -autoupdate -tickrate 33 +maxplayers 20 +map zm_lila_panic if someone would help me that would be great i just need to fix the right settings and also fix ping from going sky high it will stay at between 10-130 and start changeing ping when people join the server there ping will be like this for example 78 ping 79 ping 72 ping 53 ping 43 ping and stay low and then after while go in like 800 ping

If your ping goes sky-high it means your connection has reached full capacity or your server is way overloaded.
Mostly it's the first, bandwidth, check how much you are using at the times the ping skyrockets.

Your minrate and maxrate are completely screwed up. You can't logically have a lower maxrate than minrate ?

I like this config file and I have to agree with Doggie52. But we also found more engine critical CVAR errors

Look at these settings in the console if you can:

"sv_maxrate" = "0" ( def. "0" )

- Max bandwidth rate allowed on server, 0 == unlimited

"sv_minrate" = "3500" ( def. "3500" )
replicated
- Min bandwidth rate allowed on server, 0 == unlimited
Although 0 is Unlimited, setting these backwards will cause some side effects with stable latency. HL servers always handle in and out traffic routines.. They say the best practice is get these numbers in close proximity no smaller than 12% typically.

i.e.
sv_maxrate 5000
sv_minrate 3500

Another thing I would like to point out in your server.cfg file was the Hostname cvar. Should look like the following:

These engines process variables in syntax. I just read some time ago that anything outside of numbers needs to be put in "quotes" when it comes to lettering, especially when with spaces.

Also you have TWO duplicate CVARS. One with TWO different settings, the lower one will override the one above. The cvar is SV_REGION and the other is sv_lan. Should read:

The CVAR net_maxfilesize is out of range.

It appears the setting of your AMMO to 1000 is overkill of the engine can manage. Not sure if this is MOD configuration or ???

Empty CVARS such as passwords should never have an BLANK_SPACE, cause even a blank space in a password COUNTS as a set password. Could explain why you may have been prompted for a password when you tried to connect
