----------------------

I've followed the http://laggfree.com guide, and it improved my server alot.

But recently yesterday i found out 6/10 people where playing on the server, so i decided to join (On the same computer that i use to host)

Now they had very low ping even when i joined, but then they started complaining about lag spikes...

Hmmmm, so after like 2 hours of playing with some bad Spikes i decided to go off to sleep, i left my server on ofcourse.

I woke up to see the logs, and there was no complain about lag spikes!

But i really do not know if its me or them.

Here is the configs:

im also going to try it by adding a less heapsize to my CS: Source...

This is the CS: Source Shortcut.

"C:\Program Files\Steam\Steam.exe" -applaunch 240 -heapsize 524288

I do not have any other computer to play CS: Source on, so could you please help me out?

I really appreciate it if you do, thanks.

You can't host and play on the same computers.
Your upload is WAY to low to run a server.

Please do not PM me for server related help
fqdn Wrote:if you've seen the any of the matrix movies, a game server is not all that different. it runs a version of the game that handles the entire world for each client connected. that's the 2 sentence explanation.

Absolute max of that connection will be 8-10 players at 33 tickrate, that's really all what you can push it to with a maxrate of 10000.

The rest, like Mooga said Smile
