You probably don't need a Video Card.
It's not like they are going to hook up a screen to it and watch your screen-saver Toungue

I believe if you go Linux you don't need video at all
If you go windows you need a VGA adapter (remote desktop), best thing to do is buy a mobo with on board graphics, or a cheap ass 32mb old PCI video card Smile

I have never seen a mobo without at least an integrated video card. You dont have to buy one.

his mobo is a desktop board, it's not going to boot without a video card. the most he'll get is a series of beeps telling him he's got no video card.

Still it would most likely have a video card. He probably wont have to buy one.

look up the mobo, it's got NO video card. it's a desktop board NOT a server board.

Onboard video has been taken off of desktop mobo's cause it's not needed anymore (everyone buys graphics cards anyways these days), unless you run a server Smile I use an old Matrox 8MB PCI video card and it works like a charm (got it from the second hand dumpster for 2$ in some store)
