CVARS and cfg settings

ok i've been searching for like 12 hours total and DID NOT find ANYTHING about variables for game settings (yes dedicatedserver) like sv_lan 0 etc

i also did the cvarlist cmd but theres still things missing (EVEN IN THERE) and theres sooooo much unusable stuff in there.. i dont know what they all mean and what are their functions (what do they do and is it CSS setting or HL2)

where can i get a FULL list of ALL variables for running a CSSDS
PLUS some explanation!!!

i'm freaking out here.. i'm tired and dont know where to search....

i know theres at least 1100 vars so that doesnt do it

those are all standard things i already know.. i want ALL vars i know theres lots more but cant find them anywhere... since this is Source DS forums i thought someone could simply list them here...

Where do you get the idea that this is the 'official' srcds forum? See http://www.steampowered.com/ , that website is at least related to Steam...

Well on the steam forums they point here as a resource.

Dracona, I have a way for you to get the list.

1. Turn on a source game. HL2DM or CSS. (I know for sure it works in HL2DM)
2. hit the ole ~ key to bring up the console
3. type cvarlist
4. copy and paste the info into a word document.


Hope this is what you were looking for. I recall seeing both DM and CSS commands in it. So it should not matter what game you do it in.

yeah i have all that but EVEN IN THERE theres still missing stuff....
