I've received numerous problems with the "new" Core2 architecture xeons in addition to the P4.
I have yet to see any problems on my E6600 though.

well my q6600 server side fps used to be fine on my current 3 but some reason i think a latest update on w2k3 server may have changed things

i got old version of srcds for jul(or jun, don't remember) 2007 (before last update)
empty server fps around 498-512(with last update fps around 512 and for milisecond jump to 140), today i'll see fps if server is full

it drop to 240 but not often
and it more stable have 512
