when useing the CAL .cfg files do i delete the old ones in the folder and put in the new ones in the cfg folder?

Pretty sure he means the .cfg file needed for cal play. To answer your question, no. when you decide to scrim, you can just use the rcon command rcon exec cal.cfg or whatever the name of the cfg is. Or you can rename it to server.cfg so it is always set to cal settings.
