Most ISP's supply dynamic IP addresses, it's cheaper and less administration, also anonymity.

In most cases you have to pay an extra fee to make your IP static, if you have DSL you will most likely have a static IP though, but you never know Smile

I am having the same problem. I don't think the port changing has to do with a dynamic ip address. My ISP changes the ip address every time i reset my cable modem. The port is correct 27015 when i unplug my router and connect the server PC straight to the modem. Here is how i configured my port forwarding in my dlink router [Image: dlinkpicha6.th.jpg]

using this command in a .bat file to start the server: c:\HLserver\orangebox\srcds.exe -console -game tf -port 27015
+maxplayers 32 +map cp_dustbowl

It's a router issue, you can try get it fixed, new updated firmware or hacked firmware and it works, or you will be trying to get it fixed next 2 months get fed up and get a professional router.

I fixed it for him, I used VPN and we set it up. His router, a Dlink, was the problem. He had an extra router, a netgear, so he connected that up. Also he deleted his other two posts of the same question.
