Dedicated server queries

Ok apologies in advanced for a thread that has been asked probably many times.. BUT:

1) I run 3 servers for our clan. A 14 slot CSS that is well used, 24 slot CSS that is average used and a 20 slot TF2 that is barely used What sort of spec dedicated box would I need to run those servers (say at max or close to).

2) How many slots would this serve hold for example: http://www.fasthosts.co.uk/dedicatedservers/game-server/

3) Anyone know any good uk dedicated server hosters - or failing that any cheap / decent co-locators in the Northern UK ares

All help0 appreciated - there is no definitve knowledge on the net about htis just loads of crappy hosts offering stuff and I cant afford to go wrong

(PS not at all a noob regarding remote management and servers in general as I run a web hosting company, so techy jargon is fine )

For what you want i would go for the 450.

I'd say that you'll need more than 1GB of ram to run three servers simultaneously.

Wrong james. 1 gb of ram can hold about 100 slots.

I run 7-8 servers on 1GB RAM with more than excellent LAN quality at 100 tickrate with a total slots exceeding 120 with bots filling up 60 slots

I'm surprised at being able to run that much on 1GB RAM.

Sorry to go off topic, but Drocona what CPU do you have in that machine?

PS so the limiting factor here would be the CPU? What would you say the slot limit for the 450 dedicated rig in that link I posted?

With the 450 dedicated rig you could run 60-70 slots at 100 tickrate.
