creating VDF file

I'm new to this so bear with me. I can start the server, play in it, but now mani. Says unknown command on mani items. Read up on it, said to make a vdf file, I did that and now it says it cant load it. Can anyone explain, at wits in. I had it working fine with eventscripts but wanted some of the features of Mani_admin.

Goto http://mani-admin-plugin.com/. Upper Right had corner, last link. CreateVDF.zip. Click on it, put in Cstrike/Addons/ and run it. Save the VDF file in the Addons folder.

Please do NOT use mani with the VDF anymore!!
The newer versions don't even support it now, you should run it on either metamod or the newer version on sourcemod.
