There's nothing you're missing! Looks fine.

Have you done portforward?

And do you host it on the server computer as you play on?

That's your problem. Since you can't connect yourself.

And can you create a new thread in General srcds? There'll be alot more to help you Smile

Im stuck on step 3.

I opened a text file and typed this in C:\Program Files\Valve\HLServer\hldsupdatetool -command update -game tf -dir c:\HLServer

and I saved it as a .bat file. I open it up and I see a dos prompt flash in front of me for a split second. Nothing ever happens

I install this in the C:\Program Files\Valve\HLServer directory

If he installed the HLDSUpdateTool there, then it will run just fine there. Having it at c:\srcds is not mandatory.

My point is that if you look, hes got HLDSupdatetool.exe installed in a folder in "Program Files", not C:\srcds.

OMG THANK YOU
I had no idea where to write step 3 until now. I can finally finish my server.

Quick Question, I have port 59099 forwarded, can I use that instead of 27015? Cause It would be easily done for me?

Thx in advance
